I've got a new BX2230 with the 60"MMM. When the mower is raised fully, it clears the right rear tire by no more than 1/8". The dealer has checked the adjustments and contacted the Kabota rep who said that's 'normal'. I looked at an older BX2200 at the dealers and it had the same basic problem, much closer on the right than on the left, but with about 1/4 to 3/8" clearance. I have the bar tires on mine, which may account for the difference though. I also noticed that lift mechanism engages the right side first, and raises that side about 1/2-3/4" higher than the left.
so my questions are: is this indeed 'normal', and if not, will it cause any problems if the tire hits the deck? Also, are ther any adjustments that I haven't found to move the deck forward on the right side?
thanks for your help,
david

I'm sure you've figured this out already, but if you angle the mower as you put in on / take it off, you can do it more easily (with more clearance), then straighten it out once you've got it placed where you want it. ....
